Like a Velvet KeyLike a velvet key,
your whispered tales of swaying hips and libations poured in honor of your sweet face swirls into the locked and forgotten chambers of my heart releasing the memory of you. And I remember...... times of undulating ripened wheat, the pounding of olives and wine into glistening gold and burgundy rivers. I remember you, the arms that always welcome me back. Your name was forgotten- but no more. I remember that you are the nectar and the life giving milk. You are the protector of children. You are the laughter in water and the glistening foam on the waves. You are the breeze, and the sigh in the trees. Your face is in the wing of the butterfly and your scent is on the jasmine and the rose. Your name is on my lips forever Earth Mother, Goddess May I never forget again. Our Own UniverseWhen I crash into you
A million drops fall over my face and body each reflecting itself onto the other. As I look closer I see your dark eyes shining in the spray. Waves of purple and pink roll over me reminding me of the setting sun in some far off place. As you touch my kneck with your soft fingertips I feel the touch of a thousand lovers sweetly romancing their beloved over the thousands of years that lovers could love. My own body a vessel, a testemant to the survival of love. I drink you in, long and slow, and as we grow roots our arms stretch to the boundaries of known existence and we smile knowing the truth, We have created our own Universe.
